RAF MAURIPUR
An archive copy of their website can be accessed from this link. It will eventually be preserved on this website.
RAF Mauripur, near Karachi, had close links with RAF Habbaniya as many of their personnel either staged through, were detached to, or from, Habbaniya or Shaibah, or played in sports competitions there. In its later years RAF Mauripur came under RAF Iraq Command.

RAF Mauripur opened in 1943 and closed in 1956. It remains a major Pakistan Air Force base, now called PAF Masroor. The RAF Mauripur Association contributed many photographs to the museum there.

The RAF Mauripur Association was started in 1995 by David Holman and Langton Moore. It produced newsletters (Sandscript) and held 21 very successful reunions at the Falcon Hotel in Stratford upon Avon. Sadly, it was decided to close the Association in November 2016.
