Do you remember??
Habbaniya is situated in Iraq, on the banks of the River Euphrates, 60 miles from Baghdad.
RAF Habbaniya was built in the mid 1930s and was a jewel in the desert with tree lined roads, lawns and flower gardens.

The RAF Habbaniya Association closed down in the Autumn of 2021. Some queries can still be dealt with.
The extensive archives of the Association have been deposited at the RAF Regiment Heritage Centre.
We aim to keep the memory of Royal Air Force Habbaniya alive for some years to come on this website.
WE HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT OUR CEMETERY AT RAF HABBANIYA AND ALSO THE CEMETERY AT RAF HINAIDI WHICH IS CURRENTLY BEING RESTORED.
A link will be added to the Cemetery page
with the details and a link to more photographs of the state of our cemeteries.
